The medical word for baldness is alopecia. The most complained kind of hair loss is male pattern baldness and targets regularly one third of males and ladies. This kind of baldness is ordinarily forever.
Permanent hair loss comes in 3 types. Male pattern baldness might start to develop in the extremely early years of a guys life, with hair loss and baldness beginning to happen as quickly as twenty years old. The normal first signs will include loss of hair follicles surrounding the top of the head and of course at the forehead. The result will probably be partial or full total baldness. If you need help with hair loss please visit Advanced Hair Studio today.
Girl pattern baldness is very similar to male pattern baldness resulting in permanent hair loss. This kind of hair loss is typically developed after a female gives birth to her child. The chemical imbalance generates hair loss although ladies do not traditionally experience full baldness.
The last sort of forever hair loss is by Cicatricial. This starts when some inflammation in the scalp causes scarring of the scalp and the hair follicles fall out forever. The lady may lose hair in random sections, or even spread all over the scalp.
With permanent hair loss the astonishing solution for tons of men and women might well be to seek help with a hair loss studio in order to gain back hair.

When we suffer from underarm odor, most of us become desperate to find ways to eliminate it completely. And there are a number of ways to eliminate underarm odor. One of the simplest ways to get rid of it is to wash your body with both soap and water daily (more than once a day in summer, if possible), especially in the underarms, which is more likely to smell because sweat from the underarms does not evaporate as readily as sweat from more exposed surfaces of the body.
When bathing, it is always better to use a medicated deodorant soap, which prevents the return of bacteria for several hours. Showering, as well as washing your clothes regularly also help prevent underarm odor. Regarding the use of fabrics, it is always preferable to wear natural fabrics like cotton and silk, which helps in the absorption of perspiration better than the synthetic materials like polyester, rayon and nylon.
A lot of people also use deodorants, which help in masking underarm odor. Antiperspirants, both the over-the-counter and prescription varieties, also help in reducing the amount of localized perspiration. If all the artificial deodorants fail to help you solve your problem, then you can take the help of ‘Le Crystal Nature’, which is a chunk of mineral salts which when applied, helps to keep odor-causing bacteria under control without causing any skin problems. Another traditional approach to fighting underarm odor is to take the help of Drionic, which is an electronic device that plugs overactive sweat ducts and keeps them blocked for up to six weeks.
However, what we have discussed so far are mainly temporary measures. In order to achieve long-term freedom from underarm odor, we recommend the following natural antiperspirants:
i) Alcohol/witch hazel: If you wipe your underarms with alcohol, white vinegar or witch hazel instead of a deodorant, it can help you in eliminating underarm odor
ii) Use a crystal rock made from the mineral salt potassium alum instead of a deodorant. It might not keep you dry as prescription antiperspirants will, but it effectively clogs your sweat glands and is free of the chemical called aluminum chlorohydrate that is present in the strongest antiperspirants, which may lead to future health problems
iii) Apple cider vinegar is also helpful in eliminating underarm odor when used in place of a deodorant because it reduces the pH of the skin, and odor-causing bacteria can’t survive in areas of the skin with low pH
iv) White vinegar is another helpful tool in eliminating underarm odor. You can soak some cotton ball in it and apply to the underarms instead of a deodorant. The vinegary smell will be gone within minutes and you will be odor-free all day
v) Baby powder and baby wipes, if used daily in areas that display heavy perspiration, also work, but the results may be temporary
vi) You can also use baking soda for its ‘odor-eating’ capability. Just apply the powder to your dry underarms. It will kill bacteria and help absorb perspiration. You can also use cornstarch instead or mix it with the baking soda to form an effective combination
vii) Bauxite crystals work very well in controlling underarm odor.
viii) Parsley, alfalfa and other leafy greens should be included in the diet because they can actually help in neutralizing body odor owing to the deodorizing effect of the chlorophyll present in these leaves
ix) Extract the juice of about two dozen radishes, mix this with a quarter teaspoon of glycerin, and use as an underarm deodorant
x) If you dilute 8-10 drops of rosemary oil in an ounce of water, you can use the resulting mixture as a wonderful natural deodorant
xi) Drinking a cup of sage herb tea daily helps in reducing sweat gland activity. This is especially true if you perspire excessively owing to tension. You can mix one and a half teaspoons of dried sage or two tea bags in one cup of water, steep for 10 minutes, and drink in small doses throughout the day
xii) You can make yet another natural deodorant by diluting two drops of essential oil in an ounce of water and apply to the underarms
xiii) Turnip juice is another effective way to reduce underarm odor, sometimes for as long as 10 hours. You can grate a turnip and squeeze the juice through cheesecloth, so that you have two teaspoonfuls. Wash your underarms first, and vigorously rub one teaspoonful of turnip juice under each one
xiv) Take 500 mg of wheat grass daily on an empty stomach and wash it down with a glass of water. The chlorophyll will dramatically reduce underarm odor.
If you still want to use branded deodorants and antiperspirants to cover up your underarm odor and reduce underarm perspiration, make sure you know clearly about the ingredients that these products contain. Since most chemical deodorants and prescription antiperspirants are made using artificial fragrances, they react differently with different types of skin.
Most commonly, however, they cause skin irritations like contact dermatitis, which causes your skin to redden, swell and itch madly. However, though some newspaper and Internet articles have in the past charged deodorants and antiperspirants with causing such serious afflictions as cancer, hormonal imbalances and liver diseases, medical research is yet to establish a link.
What is certain is that chemical substances do affect your body in different ways, so it is always wisest to try and use natural antiperspirants and deodorants such as the ones we have described above. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Nobody has as yet reported harmful side effects from natural antiperspirants, whereas complaints have often poured in from people using chemical deodorants and medications.
It is best that you follow a healthy daily regimen, and work on controlling your diet, because diet has a lot to do with underarm odor. In short, what we eat is what we smell. In addition, make sure your physician conducts regular check-ups to monitor your general health, and that you keep your liver functioning, blood sugar levels, kidney functioning and yeast levels under control.
Finally, listen to your body. Too often, we tend to ignore the initial symptoms of an underarm sweat problem because we think it is a temporary manifestation. Do not make this mistake. With time, not only will the problem not disappear on its own, but you will find yourself falling a victim to underarm odor, which will cause you untold social embarrassment and financial burdens in the form of repeated purchases of antiperspirants and deodorants, and even more extreme forma of treatment like surgery and Botox injections.
So, the moment you think your underarm odor is reaching unmanageable proportions, take steps now!

Sara spends much of her summer near the beach. She lives in a mild climate and is very athletic. She loves to swim, bike, and play games outdoors. Sara knows the dangers of the sun and so she opts for tanning salons to get her ‘golden glow’ while being sure to apply sunscreen every day before heading out.
Joseph lives in a cooler, northern climate. The summers can be very humid, but most of the year is mild or even below freezing during the harshest winter months. The beach has never been much of a draw for him and he spends most of his time doing indoor activities or at his job. Joseph doesn’t worry about sunscreen and only had one sunburn that he can remember and that was when he was a child.
——————–
Which of these examples do you most associate yourself with? Did you know that Sara and Joseph are both at risk of developing skin cancer? We have all heard the warnings about the dangers of sun exposure. We know all about the importance of wearing sunscreen and hats. But are YOU protected from skin cancer? Consider these myths and facts:
- Myth: Tanning Beds are Safer than the Sun
20 minutes of exposure in a tanning bed is roughly equivalent to four hours in the sun. Although sun beds use UVA rather than UVB rays, ‘The Skin Cancer Answer’ states that “UVA penetrates more deeply into the skin than UVB, can cause skin cancer, and may suppress the immune system.”
- Myth: Wearing Sunscreen at the Beach is Protection
85 percent of UV rays can even make it through on cloudy days. That means you are equally at risk in the car, walking the dog or letting your children out to play at any time of year - even when you’re not at the beach. Of course, you are usually less attired at the beach and so covering up is recommended even when wearing sunscreen. Sunscreen also wears off with sweat and water and should always be applied every two hours or after getting wet.
- Myth: Taking Care Of Your Skin Now Will Protect You
Sadly, skin cancer can take 20 or more years to develop. The Skin Cancer Foundation states that most people receive about 80 percent of their lifetime sun exposure before the age of 18. Just one blistering sunburn in childhood is estimated to double the risk of melanoma later in life. Taking better care now will reduce the risk, but not eliminate the damage already done.
- Myth: Having a Tan Means You’re More Protected
Dark skinned individuals are less likely to develop cancer, but tanned skin is actually damaged skin. Repeated tanning injures the skin and increases the risk of skin cancer.
So how do you plan to protect your family this year? Some suggestions are to limit exposure to the sun - especially for infants. Examine your skin for early signs of damage. Use a sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher and apply it at least 30 minutes before exposure and every two hours after that. Teach your children good safety habits and be sure you and they are covered up when outdoors.
Have fun and be safe.

Working as an emergency room RN, I have seen many people suffering from kidney stones. About 80% are men, why we don’t know. They have lower abdominal pain or flank pain on one side. The pain they feel is intense.
We first ask them for a urine sample. Using a dip stick the nurse typically finds blood in the urine, often with hardly any infection (though there may well be infection, and often the presence of ketones, a sign of dehydration). The patient is then given intravenous fluids (salt water) to help flush the kidneys, and after the doctor’s formal diagnosis, pain medication also. The aim of the pain medication is to give the patient a rest as the fluids help the stones pass through less painfully.
A blood test and cat scan is often ordered for further confirmation. The scan can show both the size and location of the stone. If there is no sign of infection, the patients go home with pain medication and instructions to increase their water intake. They are also advised to use a strainer to catch and save the kidney stone, which can then be sent for analysis. Certain foods may then be proscribed to diminish the likelihood that more kidney stones are produced.
From many patients I have heard what works best for kidney stones. Their advice is first, and above all, to drink lots of water. If you do not drink a lot of water your urine becomes more concentrated, making you more prone to develop new kidney stones. Here are some other tried-and-true tips:
o Avoid stress (as if that’s easy!) Kidney stone patients are very often
o under unusual stress.
o Avoid alcohol and sodas. They dehydrate you.
o Drink corn silk tea to flush the kidneys.
o Another helpful beverage is catnip tea with apple cider vinegar.
o Drink aloe vera (It’s sold in health food stores)
o If your kidney stones are calcium-related, lemonade helps to absorb the calcium.
o Walk, walk, walk. Prolonged body movement helps to move the stones out. We call this “the tough way”.
o Be sure to have your thyroid and parathyroid checked. In some cases there is a connection.
How to prevent kidney stones in general:
1. Again - lots of water. This means eight 8-ounce glasses, and twelve glasses if you work outside. If your urine is smelly, you are probably not drinking enough water, and are at risk for a urinary tract infection (UTI).
2. Take vitamin C - 2,000 mg. a day.
3. No sodas or alcohol. If you do partake, for every glass of beverage drink an extra glass of water.
4. Work to strengthen your immune system.
5. Check your family history. Did any of your parents or grandparents have kidney stones? Get the story and learn from it, which often means to improve your lifestyle.
6. In Chinese medicine, the kidneys represent fear. To counteract any fear, try this positive affirmation: “Water flows freely through me, making me safer.” As you repeat this affirmation regularly, try to sincerely feel its significance. Visualize it as a reality, not just words.
For real inspiration, try this wonderful quote from Aldous Huxley:
The kidneys are so beautifully organized; they do their work of regulation with such a miraculous–it’s hard to find another word–such a positively divine precision, such knowledge and wisdom, that there is no reason why our archetypal man, whoever he is, or anyone else, for that matter, should be ashamed to own a pair.”

This is related to Vertical Jump Programs to slam dunk. The important training program includes Plyometric Training, Strength Training. A plyometric movement is the main action you use to slam dunk. A plyometric movement occurs when your body loads and contracts. Types of exercises in plyometric training include squat jumps, jump to box, and tuck jumps. Much of your vertical leap ability is reliant on your muscular strength. The amount of potential your muscles can exert force is dependent on how strong they are. There are over 600 muscles in your body that contract and control all the movements your body undergoes. Types of exercises in strength training include squats, leg press, and dumbbell lunges. The amount of plyometric training and strength training you should implement in your routine should depend on your body type. Certain people will benefit more from plyometric training than strength training and vise versa. Start your vertical leap program by spending a few minutes with a jump rope. The jump rope increases stamina and helps stretch out the lower half of the body. Next, you want to do some sprints back and forth along a hardwood floor. You could sprint on grass, but bear in mind, all vertical leap tests are done in hardwood gymnasiums, so its best to do all your workouts in a gymnasium.

The big advantage of whole house systems is that you can keep your entire living are fresh. The units are installed in an out-of-sight location and they operate silently. Whole house, like bionaire’s air purifier units require less maintenance than portable and tabletop models, with a large filter that should be replaced at least once a year. One of the drawbacks to whole house cleaners is that they are considerably more expensive and they need to be connected to the ductwork by a professional. If you don’t own your home or if your home doesn’t have central air, then a portable room air cleaner is likely to be the best choice. Portable cleaners can also be found that use HEPA filtration. Because they use a fan to move air through the filter they can be noisy, but they can easily be moved to an out-of-the-way corner of the room.Portable air purifiers are rated in terms of Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR,) a number that indicates air flow combined with filter efficiency. The rule of thumb is to use an air cleaner with a CADR that is two thirds the square footage of the room. A 15 by 15 foot room (225 square feet) requires an air purifier rated at 150 CADR.Whether you choose a whole house or a portable air purifier, several advanced technologies can help you get the cleanest air possible. Electrostatic, sometimes called ionic, purification systems use electronically-charged air to make dust particles “heavier” and less likely to remain airborne. The downside of these purifiers is that they produce ozone, a molecule that can irritate the lungs. It’s important to make sure the model you select produces less ozone than 50 parts per billion. You can also get germicidal air cleaners that use ultraviolet light to kill mold and bacteria.

About Breast
Cancer:
Breast cancer is a type of uncontrolled growth of abnormal
cells that can develop in one of several areas of the breast,
including the ducts that carry milk to the nipple, the small
sacs that produce milk (lobules) and the nonglandular
tissue.Breast Cancer is estimated that 192,200 women and 1,500
men in the United States will be diagnosed with Breast cancer in
2001. Though rare in men, Breast cancer accounts for 31% of all
cancer diagnosed in women. Breast cancer is a disease in which
cancer cells are found in Breast tissue. There are numerous
types of Breast cancer. For example, ductile cancer, found in
the cells of the ducts, is the most common type of Breast
cancer. Cancer that begins in the lobes or lobules is called
lobular cancer. Treatment will depend on the type of Breast
cancer and stage of the disease. There are also many
non-cancerous (benign) Breast diseases as well.
Symptoms of Breast Cancer:
1.A lump or thickening in the breast or under the arm. 2.A
clear or bloody discharge from the nipple. 3.Crusting or scaling
of the nipple. 4.Nipples that don’t stick out (inverted).
5.Redness or swelling of the breast. 6.Dimpling on the breast
skin resembling the texture of an orange. 7.A change in the
contours of the breast, such as one being higher than the other.
8.A sore or ulcer on the skin of the breast that does not heal.
Causes of Breast Cancer:
The exact cause of cancer remains a mystery. Over twenty
percent of those who have cancer never know why. The primary
parts that are involved are the natural parts of food, tobacco,
occupational hazards, genetic composition and food additives.
Other agents that have been linked with cancer are ionizing
radiation, chemicals in the air and diet, vitamin deficiency,
high-fat diet, stress and environmental conditions.
Diagnosis:
Biopsy: Used to diagnose tumors, a biopsy tests cells
removed surgically or through aspiration for microscopic
examination.
Cytology test: A test that shows the shedding of abnormal
cells. A good example of a cytology test is pap smear.
Imaging techniques: low dose x-rays such as those used in
a mammogram can detect early Breast cancer. Ultrasound scanners
can also produce images of organs.
Chemical testing: Detect the presence of blood in the
feces or elevated levels of enzyme acid phosphates in the blood.
Ultrasound: A new ultrasound technique used after a
mammogram can help reduce uncertainty about whether a Breast
mass is cancerous or not.
Home Care Suggestions: -Avoid tobacco in all forms,
synthetic hormones, particularly estrogen, excessive alcohol,
caffeine. -To minimize hair loss apply cold packs to the scalp
while taking radiation or therapy. -Engage in mild exercise such
as walking and make it part of your daily ritual. -If you ever
receive a serious diagnosis of any kind, one of the most
important things you can do is to free your mind of daily
concerns.

Noni fruit drink is available at brick-and-mortar health food
stores as well as online vendors. It is also available from
individual members of multi-level marketing companies, but it is
recommended that you buy from an established seller.
Noni fruit drink can be expensive - sometimes $60 per liter, but
a little goes a long way. Recommended dosage is only one or two
ounces daily, on an empty stomach for best absorption.
You can buy any of three basic types of noni fruit drink. The
purest form is made of pure noni juice. There are no pulps,
seeds, leaves, or bark. It contains the highest concentration of
nutrients. Bear in mind that the label might claim the contents
to be 100% noni juice, but there might still be water added.
(The added liquid reduces the pungent taste.)
The second purest form is pureed noni fruit. This is whole noni
fruit, minus the seeds. The concentration of nutrients is not as
high as with pure noni, but there is a much wider array of
nutrients, affording you some of the more fibrous parts of the
fruit. When buying noni juice made by this method, look for a
70% juice concentration or higher.
The third form of noni juice is powder to be mixed with other
liquids, such as raspberry juice, cranberry juice, or orange
juice. It usually takes 10 to 20 pounds of noni fruit to make
one pound of powder. To re-hydrate, just pour in powder at a
volume rate 1/10th to 1/20th that of the desired volume of
liquid. It is available in bulk for about anywhere from $20 to
$60 a pound.

The food is the raw material for the body. Minerals are one of
the important components of human nutrition. Minerals are
grouped under two categories macro (the ones which we need in
large amounts) and trace (the ones ne need in small amounts).
Here are some minerals which should be an important part of
your diet.
Calcium: It is used for bone formation, muscle movement
(cramps may result from calcium deficiency) and burning fat
(some studies point towards taking calcium to lose weight).Over
consumption of protein leads to calcium loss from the bones.
It is usually found in large quantities in dairy products,
sea food with bones, non-vegetarian foods, soy/tofu and green
leafy vegetables.
Must Read: Learn how calcium promotes weight loss at
http://www.weightloss-health.com/calcium_weightloss.htm
Phosphorus: It is required for formation of genetic
material, bones, maintaining the acid base balance, and for
metabolism.
It is found in legumes and nuts.
Sodium: Very important to maintain the fluid levels and
acid base balance of the body. Perspiration vomiting, loose
motions etc tend to upset the acid base balance. People with
iodine deficiency can additionally use sea kelp which is also
good source of iron
It is found in small quantities in most foods. The best
sources are rock salt and sea salt.
Must Visit: Low Sodium Recipes at
http://www.weightloss-health.com/low_sodium_diet_recipes.htm
Potassium: It helps maintain the water balance in the
body, maintains blood pressure, nerve impulses. People with
kidney problems need to be very careful about potassium levels.
Some foods which are good sources are banana,
melons,potatoes,tomato and orange.
Zinc: It is responsible for fertility, skin, hair and is
part of many enzymes.
It is found in nuts, whole grains, legumes and non-vegetarian
foods.
Iodine: It is responsible for being a part of the
hormonal system and many hypothyroids may benefit from consuming
natural forms like sea kelp.
It is also found in the iodised variety of salts.
Copper: A trace metal found in many foods. It is needed
for manufacturing haemoglobin and many enzymes.
Copper is also available when water is stored in a copper
vessel overnight and consumed in the morning.
