Tumescent Liposuction is one of the latest advances in Liposuction. The Tumescent procedure allows for increased volumes of fat reduction per procedure than was previously possible, while at the same time increasing the safety and well being of the patient. Surgeons are finding it to be an effective tool in the elimination of stubborn fat on the hips, thighs, stomach, upper arms, and other difficult regions on the body. Patients undergoing Tumescent Liposuction often see reductions of several inches from the hips, thighs and buttocks. In addition to the increased volumes of fat removal, the patient experiences reduced levels of post-liposuction bruising. This is possible due to the continued technological advances in Liposuction equipment and techniques.
Length and details of the Tumescent Liposuction procedure
In Tumescent Liposuction the procedure is further enhanced by the utilization of a special solution in the targeted areas.
During Tumescent liposuction, the targeted areas are injected with a special solution causing the fatty tissue to tumesce. (Swell up) The solution that is injected also includes a local anesthetic that numbs the treated area in addition to temporarily shrinking blood vessels. Next a small tubular device (Known as a Cannula) is utilized to transfer the targeted excess fat into a sterile collection system. With Tumescent Liposuction these components come together to result in fat removal, minimized blood loss, reduced bruising, and a maximization of patient comfort. Furthermore the local anesthesia that is contained in the solutions remains in the treated area for approximately 24 hours benefiting the patient in minimizing post-procedure pain.
Tumescent liposuction recovery time
The downtime is minimal and most people returning to their routines within five to seven days. An elastic compression garment is worn following surgery to help the skin contract and heal. After the tumescent liposuction procedure, most patients can usually return to a desk-type job within a few days. Patients may resume physical activity within five to seven days following the procedure.
Potential Tumescent Liposuction side effects
When performed by an experienced surgeon, tumescent liposuction is a very safe method of fat removal. The complications that may occur are irregularity in skin surface, unevenness, loose skin, numbness, infections and potential scarring. For the most part these complications are infrequent and are typically easily resolved.
Long-term results of Tumescent Liposuction treatments
Differences in physical appearance are often noted immediately. The final results of the procedure will be fully evident within six weeks. Depending on the individual patient’s physical makeup it is possible to experience drops between two to four sizes in clothing. Since fat cells are permanently removed by Tumescent liposuction, weight gain will not occur in the areas which the procedure targeted. It is important that proper diets and exercise routines be maintained as it is possible for patients to gain weight and fat in other areas of the body.
Tumescent Liposuction cost
The price of Tumescent Liposuction will depend on your individual needs. It will also very on your geographic location. As with any procedure, Tumescent Liposuction in New York will cost more than Tumescent Liposuction in Texas. The national average cost of a Tumescent Liposuction procedure runs between $2500 and $3000 for the first procedure.
Will my insurance cover a Tumescent Liposuction procedure?
Because a Tumescent Liposuction procedure is considered an elective procedure, insurance usually will not cover the operation.

The piano is the most wonderful of instruments in my opinion. Irving Berlin wrote the words and music to a song about the affection many people share for this beautiful instrument called I Love a Piano. It was introduced in 1915 in the Broadway musical Stop! Look! Listen! Later it was sung by Fred Astaire and Judy Garland in the 1948 film Easter Parade.
Here are some of the words to I Love a Piano by Irving Berlin. Maybe you can recall the tune.
I love a piano, I love a piano, I love to hear somebody play!
Upon a piano, a grand piano, it simply carries me away!
So you can keep your fiddle and your bow, give me a P-i-a-n-o, Oh, oh!
I love a piano, I love a piano, I love to hear somebody play!
Below are ten reasons why I love the piano.
1. I love the keys, they’re black and white, my fingers stretch to play just right.
2. I love the keyboard, put together by an ace, I can always find my place.
3. I love to play the ivories, their tops so smooth when I play each key.
4. I love the sound, so full and profound, it’s fit for even a king.
5. I love the energy, to feel its power, I fly upon the keys.
6. I love the harmony, I make it myself, I need nobody’s help.
7. I love the musical range of endless possibilities for creativity.
8. I love the grand piano, how elegant, but please don’t hurt the elephant.
9. I love the bench, it matches my décor. I’m centered in my musical core.
10. I love the glossy lacquered hood - my happiness reflected in its rosy wood.

Around a decade ago the actual suggestion of a wall-mounted telly may have seemed like something from a science fiction film. It was out of the reach of most punters, with especially costs that needed taking out a 2nd mortgage to gain these ultra sleek tellies. Nevertheless, over time, these incredible TV products reached the level of attainability. Nevertheless, currently not something you can just go out and pay for, it has in recent time rapidly become much more of a chance. RRP prices for these flat panel HDTV sets are at this present time decreasing more rapidly than new home prices, & have made the fantasy a certainty.
Now there are two opposite flat-panel technologies: plasma and LCD. Whilst each product gives an excellent picture and these sets do look comparable from the front, the equipment on the inside is fairly dissimilar. And even though LCD televisions have been limited to 37″s and below, TV sets with the liquid crystal display technology are nowadays in sizes as huge as plasma. Plasma TV sets at low, low prices at Digital Direct. Visit site today!
Nevertheless, despite that, countless consumers judge plasma to give several fundamental benefits over LCD. The key advantages is that plasma sets generally contain deeper black levels-indicating that the blacks are in truth black and not merely a dark side of gray. This in turn means that the colours are much more stunning and realistic. The latest models from Pioneer and LG have in reality taken the black levels to enhanced depths, and as a result have built the optimum pictures we have observed to date.
In spite of the gossip that plasma TV sets “needs to be recharged” after five-thousand hours, nothing could be further from the reality. Today’s flat panel plasma televisions should often operate for 60,000 hours or more, offering you with years of first-rate television viewing. Although there has been a fear over issues such as burn-in (fittingly so, as this may possible ruin that expensive plasma telly), the recent tellies include components to tackle image retention, supplying pixel shift techniques that gradually move the whole display, and more crucially, eradicate any ghosting should static pictures in actual fact “stick” the picture. This consists of a white wash mode in addition to an opposite mode to do away with all the burn-in.

First, using a lot of web graphics, flash, banners and pictures on your home page may make it look fancy or cool; but it will slow down the loading time extensively. And lets be real here, most people that look at your web page will leave if it doesn’t load in 3 seconds or less. Because most people are naturally impatient. If they click on a banner or link that leads to your home page, they expect to see it the second they click, all of it. Not too many people will sit there and wait for your web graphics, flash intro, banners or 30 pictures to load. Keep in mind that not all visitors computers will load pages as fast as yours may. Set your screen resolution at 800×600, or at least put a notice on your page what resolution your site is best viewed in, because people hate to have to scroll back and forth to read from side to side.
Second, professionalism in the way a home web page looks doesn’t usually include distracting backgrounds (use solid soft colors or white), loud and annoying background music or three inch tall caps that try to convince your visitor to buy now or feel like an idiot and lose out for the rest of their lives. Fonts should be clear and easy to read and in colors that don’t clash with one another or the background. And be careful with text, too much is a turn off, people don’t need to read a book about your service or product. Don’t use colors such as bright red fonts on a blue page, they tend to bleed, blur and make the visitor feel like there is something wrong with their eyes.
Third, navigation should be as easy as looking at the screen. Navigation bars should be clear, in easy to read fonts and usually in alphabetical order, as well as in colors that don’t clash with the rest of your page, make your visitor feel like their starring at the sun or have to squint to read font colors that blend in too much with the background. All contact and information page links should be easy to find as well. The worst thing you can do is make a visitor search for a link by hiding it in a corner somewhere or make them click link after link just to find out how to contact you. Keep you pages clean, clutter free and from appearing as if it is all over the screen.
Last, Ad banners and outside links should be kept to a minimum on the home page of your site, nobody wants to visit a link farm. If you belong to a link exchange or trade links (which is a good idea for the search engines and link popularity), make pages that are just for links or ad banners. One or two banners on your home page is plenty, and are usually placed at the bottom or in a skyscraper on the right hand side of the page. However, if you belong to google adsense, it’s okay, and a good idea, to place those links at the top of the page just under your header, because they produce revenue.
If your home page and other pages are easy to read, clutter free, easy to navigate and don’t take long to download or make your eyes blur out, then you’re probably doing okay. To get some ideas, surf the web and look at other business and product web sites to see what they have done.
A good website can eventually produce a very good income. Good Luck!

You would like to give your kitchen a new look but you don’t
want to spend a lot of time and money. A great option for you is
to install a ceramic tile backsplash. Since there are such a
large variety of tiles, you can find the pattern that best suits
the updated style of your kitchen.
Choose your tiles. Before you can install your ceramic tile
backsplash, you need to choose your tiles. Pick a pattern or a
color that goes with your existing décor yet gives the look a
slight update. Take measurements. Before you purchase your
ceramic tiles, take accurate measurements. What size is the
space? When it comes time to determine how many tiles to
purchase, make allowances for the space you need to leave for
the grout.
Gather your tools. When you install your ceramic tile
backsplash, it is best to gather all the tools you will need in
advance. You will need the tiles, a straight edge, a ceramic
tile cutter, grout, adhesive, applicators, a pencil, and other
materials. Gathering your tools before you start to install the
backsplash will prevent you from needing to make a trip to the
store while in the middle of the progress.
Cut the tiles. You may need to cut some of the ceramic tiles
before you begin. It is best to cut the tiles before you begin
assembling the ceramic backsplash because once you lay down the
grout, you’ll want to put the tiles on it immediately. Use a
ceramic tile cutter or a ceramic tile jig. When cutting, make
sure to wear goggles to protect your eyes. Also learn how to use
the equipment properly to prevent injury.
Install the ceramic tile backsplash. After making all the
preparations you are finally ready to install the ceramic tile
backsplash. First, you’ll want to turn the electricity off for
any outlets that you are working near. If you accidentally put a
tool into the sockets you could get electrocuted. Then, wash the
wall thoroughly with soap and warm water. Make sure the wall is
completely dry before you go on to the next step. Next, spread
the adhesive on the wall using an applicator. Follow the
manufacturer’s instructions. Finally, start laying down the
tile. Start at the center of the design and work outward. Let
the adhesive dry and then apply grout. Follow the mixing and
application directions provided by the company that made the
grout.
This is a project that can easily be done in one weekend. The
more skill you have before you begin the project, the easier it
will be.

Before you are going to do something, there is nothing as sensible as goal planning. A plan as we know it is something thought about and chalked out in advance before the real action takes place and is actually a recipe for success. Pretty good definition, huh? I made it up myself.
But then, the word ‘plan’ does not need much of a definition. It has been used so much that it has become quite hackneyed. So, we all know what it means, but how many of us really resort to planning before we start a course of action.
No, I’m not referring to a mental picture that we chart out in our minds that is in one word, vague. I mean a real plan in black and white, that is, put down on a piece of paper. Please do not underestimate the importance of a written down plan. Once we write down something it clears up a lot of hazy areas and opens aspects that we probably overlooked.
And the most important of all is that with a plan and only with a plan can we get a rough estimate at least, of how much time the course of action would take. Plans should always be time bound and there we get the relation between time management and planning. In fact, planning is as fundamental to time management as organizing and prioritizing. The advantages of planning are given below.
The advantages of planning
- Planning helps us to have a better idea about the course of action that we propose to take.
- Planning better defines the course of action that we propose to undertake.
- Planning gives a rough estimate of the time required for a project.
- Planning gives us a fairly good idea about the expenses involved in the project. In fact a budget is also a plan, a financial plan.
- Planning helps us to get prepared for emergencies that may arise during the course of the project.
- A well though about plan gives us a clear idea about what is to be done every day, every week and every month.
- Planning helps avoid duplication of labor.
- If a plan is followed, every one will have a clear idea about his or her role.
A point that I would like to add while we are talking about planning is, we should have both short term plans as well as long term strategy plans. At the same time we should also try to draft out contingency plans to deal with a crisis if it arises. There are lots of good free planning resources online. Just try a search and you’ll have a long list of sites to choose from.
I thought it would be useful for you to have a brief overview of the different steps involved in planning.
The steps in planning are
- Set objectives
- Assess you present situation
- Survey your alternatives
- Decide on the course of action
- Provide for control
- Implement the plan
But whatever be the plan, I again want to stress the point that a plan should always be time bound. As the project moves along, the plan should be flexible in the sense that it should incorporate any changes that might prove necessary once the project is put into action.

I can’t believe it. I was watching the news this morning and they had a segment on food allergies. They suggested making little card that you could give to waiters or waitresses that outline your food allergy because it is embarrassing to talk about it. WHAT! Why in the hel would it be embarrassing to talk about a food allergy?
The only reason is because the person with the allergy has no self-confidence or is just a wimp. I could not believe it. If you have a food allergy then it would seem that talking to a waiter, who is bringing you your food, would be a reasonable thing.
This idiot is crying about how embarrassing it is. What is this guy trying to do, enable this kind of low self-esteem. What kind of crap is this guy spreading. My wife was laughing at me when my face turned three shades of purple. What really made me mad was that he was weakening people instead of trying to strengthen them. Giving them a card because they may be embarrassed suggests, to me, that maybe they should be embarrassed. The idea of being embarrassed because of a food allergy is stupid, but this guy is teaching people to feel that way.
Our whole society does that. Teaches people to be embarrassed about their wrinkles, or eye color, or lack of hair, or on and on. This kind of stuff hurts people more than anyone can measure.
This is just a symptom of why so many people are not living the lives they want. You can’t be scared of what others will think. If you are scared of what a waiter will think of a food allergy, that is not your fault, then what will you do when you have to make a tough choice. You will take the path that will get you the approval of the most people, the problem is that path is likely the most destructive to you and your life.
If you don’t think I have gotten my share of teasing and nasty email from friends and acquaintances about my book “The Barbarian’s Guide to Success” your crazy. Just last Sunday I was at a friends house and he started to tease me it. I never batted an eye, I just said with conviction that he would do well to buy a copy and read it. Instead of trying to seek his approval, I just stuck to my guns, and guess what I got his approval. I didn’t need to ask him for it. I didn’t need to try and get it. I didn’t even care if I did get it. Just stick to your guns and most people will come to you, because they like that sort of confidence.
Most people are attracted to confidence. The key is developing it. I talk at length about developing your confidence in “The Barbarian’s Guide to Success.” I still can’t imagine a Barbarian with low self esteem. The idea makes me laugh, hence the name.
For the ones who are not attracted to confidence, well who cares. You know, some people are going to come with you on your journey. They will want to be part of your group, growing and enjoying life more and more each day. Some people won’t. I, personally, really don’t care about them, and you shouldn’t either.
Who cares what that moron at work thinks, you know the one. He is always criticizing everyone. Then he drives his gremlin home to his empty one bedroom apartment. Who cares what he thinks. Lift you head high and people will come with you.
With that I will say:
Get the Barbarian Mind Set and keep it. Stay tr to yourself and your family, the rest will take care of itself.
Welga!

We’ve all got Stretch Marks in some place or other on the body. You know that unsightly scarring where the skin stretched during puberty, pregnancy, that time you ate too much over the holidays and gained weight. Even bodybuilders get stretch marks from when their muscles get too big too fast. If you’ve just developed your first stretch marks you’ll probably be unnerved at the reddish purple inflamed look to them, but don’t worry stretch marks will fade over time to a color a few shades lighter than the rest of your skin aiding in their removal.
After childbirth or losing weight your skin will contract to its original size and thus become much less apparent. It will still have a loose feel to it or you may notice that the stretch marks are set lower than the skin around it, giving the area an uneven feel when you run your fingers over it. That’s because the stretch marks are made on the dermis layer of the three layers of skin and as the dermis is continually stretched over time it begins to lose its elasticity and the small collagen fibers within break, creating stretch marks.
Despite their sometimes jagged and grisly appearance there is usually no health risk and it doesn’t impede your ability to function at all. Occasionally the thin skin may tear easily in an accident.
The best way to treat the removal of stretch marks is to catch them at their earliest appearance when they are still reddish in color. Dermatologists have tried using a variety of treatments on the marks, but once they fade they are much more difficult to treat. You can try massaging the marks with Olive oils, Coconut butter or Vitamin E or Vitamin A. Aloe Vera Gel on the skin can help soothe irritation of the recently stretched skin. Exercising regularly is a good way to keep your skin and muscles firm thus preventing stretch marks, and eating foods rich in protein, Vitamin E, and Vitamin C will help promote healthy skin.

“I have spent many days stringing and unstringing my
instrument while the song I came to sing remains unsung.”
- Rabindranath Tagore
Statistics predict that about 45% of you are setting up your
goals and resolutions for the New Year. Unfortunately, in six
months 46% of the 45% will have lost contact with those
resolutions.
It is part of our human nature to be ever evolving, setting
goals, and heading towards something. It is a wonder to me
that there are so many people helping so many people
accomplish what they want to do. You’d think it would be
easier than that.
What really gets in the way? After 30 years of working with
people to help them get where they want to go, I find that the
number one reason that people don’t get what they say they
want is that they just don’t take action. Not enough action.
Not inspired action. Not prolonged action. Not considered
action. Not informed action.
We live a lot of our life in our heads. Visualization and
imagery are important parts of goal attainment. But when
you spend more time visualizing, imagining and thinking
about your goals, resolutions and intentions than you do
carrying them out, that is pretty much where they are likely to
stay - in your head.
It is true that you can not make something happen by forcing
it into manifestation. So action designed to manipulate
results hardly ever works. And you have very little direct
control on the results of your actions. All you can be
committed to is taking the inspired action and regulating
your relationship with the actions you take.
The reason that people don’t take action is because they
really prefer what they are doing now or they definitely don’t
like the action that is needed to get the results they want.
Sure we would like the results to already be in place. But we
are just not that keen on doing the things to bring about
those results.
What you are doing now and the life you are living now are
perfectly aligned to give you the results that you have now. If
you want something different you have to do something
different. This is so obvious that we tend to let it slip by us
without really grasping its meaning. The more truthful we
are with ourselves the more we will notice that things
around us are not changing because we are not changing. If
we want the results around us to fundamentally change, we
have to fundamentally change and take fundamentally
different actions than we are taking now.
If you want radically new results (not just a rehash of the
same old same old), you have to take radically new actions.
And for most of us, radically new actions are scary.
So, what to do…?
The short answer is to just do something - anything -
radically different. It would be nice if it is an inspired radical
action that has something to do with your intended goal. But
even if the radical new action does not seem to be directly
connected to your intended goal - try it anyhow.
Doing anything radically different is like a passport to a New
World where there is a new you waiting. Take a calculated
risk. A strategic chance. A considered tactic. Don’t hurt
yourself - don’t gamble away everything in one play. But do
take a leap.
You can not travel to a New World if you are taking the same
old train every day. Be bold. Be outrageous. Get used to
being scared and feeling out of place and just do something
radically new.
Some radical new actions for 2006:
- Run for public office
- Submit a book proposal
- Ask your sweetheart to marry you
- Apply to go on the Amazing Race
- Audition at a Broadway theater
- Become a news reporter
- Find out if you have food allergies
- Take a Vision Quest
- Start a magazine
- Go back to school
- Get the best lipid profile you have ever had
- Find out if you have adrenal stress
- Start eating fresh food
- Get a handle on your brain chemistry
- Volunteer at your local Habitat for Humanity
Or some other radically, outrageous action calling to you. Be
bold. Be brave. Be radically different this year and see what
shows up.
“Vision is not enough, it must be combined with venture. It is
not enough to stare up the steps, we must step up the
stairs.”
-Vaclav Havel
